Today marks my thirtieth birthday! I'm not approaching thirty
with fear, but rather with excitement to see where my life will go from here. I feel
like I've finally figured out who I am and I am happy with the person I have
become. I’ve also learned that life is often about how you look at things - how
you approach successes, challenges, failures, and opportunities that come your
way. Above all I can be thankful for my wonderful husband and my amazing family who
loves me and supports me unconditionally. I am grateful for our home, my pup
of 13 years that passed away last fall, and our sweet new pup who is reminding me every day
how special a dog's love is. I am thankful to God for my entire family and wonderful
friends. I am thankful for you. Thank you for reading what I have to say and
for encouraging and supporting me along the way. This whole blogging community
is a huge part of why I feel that turning thirty will actually be fabulous!
And I'm off to a pretty good start on my 30th year, I'll be spending part of next month in 3 places that are on my bucketlist ... London, Paris, and Rome! I'm still pinching myself that a trip to Europe has come to fruition. I can wait to take everything in; the sites, the food, the shopping ... Now what I need from you my friends, are all of your tips and suggestions on what I must not miss while embarking on this trip of a lifetime!

Congrats, the 30's are the new 20's they say, and also love it! Cool Bucket list! Have a wondeful Day and time!
Hard to believe you are 30 muffin! Happy Birthday darling!
In Paris, visit Parc Monceau. A park made for the stylish...and those homes surrounding it.....
Have such a wonderful time! and Happy Birthday! I have been to Italy twice and my suggestion for your trip is try not to fit in too many things in any city. You may feel like want to do it, but honestly it is so much more fun and relaxing just to choose a few things in each place. This way you can truly take in each city and appreciate it, rather than running around everywhere. Enjoy it. xx

A month in Europe! What a great way to celebrate a big Birthday! In London, I would recommend having afternoon tea at the Savoy hotel (make sure to make a reservation). If you have time, I would also recommend taking the train to the city of Bath - it's one of my favorite places in the UK. If you have extra time while you're in Italy, I would recommend taking the train/ferry to Positano. The Amalfi coast is incredible and totally worth the trip! Have fun!!
Happy Birthday!!! Hope it's a fabulous one!
Happy birthday!
Happiest of birthdays to you Nancy! Welcome to the 30's club, you'll lalalallaLOVE it over here! Especially when it begins with a quickie jaunt to Europe, I'm jealous ;D London and Rome are next on my hitlist while every time I take the trek I find myself back at Paris (twice now) :D Ahhhh can't wait to live vicariously through your pics! Hope you celebrate a splendid birthday week!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I also turn 30 in August and agree that life is only getting better! :) What an incredible way to start out your 30's!! I'm so wanting to go back to all of those places. I backpacked in Europe for 3 weeks right after college back in 2005, but we went to all 3 of those cities, but were only at each for 2 nights as we went to so many places. We squeezed in as much as possible in the short time, but I'd love to go back now and see more. We did two bike tours in Paris, which was a great way to cover the city and see the beautiful parks and bridges and so many other sites! In Paris I'd recommend getting some wine and food (baguettes, cheese, macaroons, etc..) and having a picnic on one of the walking bridges to watch the sunset and enjoy an evening looking out across the water. We didn't do this ourselves but we saw many others and wished we had more time to do so! Oh and eat gelato every day!! Twice if you want. :)
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you have a fantastic day -- you deserve it, my dear!
i just recently turned thirty and was a little against it at first but its turned out to be the greatest year yet! and a trip to europe to celebrate!!!!! what didn't i think of that?!?! i wish you all the best!!!

Happy Birthday Nancy!
I hope you will enjoy your european trip :)
I live in Paris so I place where you absolutely must go is "les Buttes Chaumonts"! This park is a little piece of heaven in the heart of Paris... And don't forget to go and eat macaroons chez "Ladurée" of course! But if you're more a chocolate addict (as I am) believe me Pierre Hermé makes the best chocolate macaroons of Paris!!!
Enjoy!
Oh happy day! Congrats on being 30. It will be an exciting decade for sure! Enjoy your trip. My favourite is Laduree and love St Germain area. The boutiques are the best!
Happy, happy birthday, Nancy! It looks like you are off to a GREAT start, and 30 is just the sign of more greatness to come :-) It's so hard to suggest what not to miss, because all 3 places are incredible, and each so different from the other. I think it's all about really being in the moment whatever you're doing, because wherever you're doing it is going to be fabulous!!!
Felíz Cumpleaños Nancy!!! Wou, what a fabulous way to celebrate your 30's!!! You'll love all these cities, they're fantastic. London's my favorite and please do not miss Jimmie Martin's shop in Notting Hill. Well, all the shops there are amazing. Hope you have a wonderful day!!! Huge hug!!! Xo
