Love black and white outside.
I have been on the hunt for black and white striped patio chair cushions. Wouldn't you know it, Ikea shows them on their site but not available. We need need patio furniture but all the ones on the market are so blah....
Loved the striped umbrellas! They would be perfect in my home! Hmmm...maybe I can sew one?
I did a little feature on black and white striped interiors a while back, and I love these outside settings! Seriously, nothing is more chic than stripes and black and white. Together, they are perfect.

Victoria Day weekend is traditionally the weekend when we plant annuals here. So hopefully my gardens will be looking a little more colourful soon :-)
Decorating the back deck is tough with hubby's cheap - I mean, frugal - ways ;-) I doubt I'll be replacing our faded green umbrella with a fresh new black & white striped one anytime soon ;-)

Black and white stripes are exactly what I use outside, I mix them with bright cobalt blue and white, love the combination. I also have a striped curtain on my front porch and hopefully will have some in the back. I had to pin the awnings, that is one of my dreams to have on my little house in California, Love that look, Happy Tuesday,

Oh I will forever be a fan of black &white stripes on ANYTHING!!! That home with the awnings is beautiful. Some homes in my neighborhood still have striped awnings like those but are quickly getting torn down. It's a shame, I think awnings should become a big part of architecture again. Those umbrellas are great too. I've seen some great striped umbrellas from the 60's, not black & white but striped, love them!!
oh I can always be sure of a ton of eye candy over here...you never disappoint! I have been doing some back reading & hope one day you you can visit my collection of blue & white !
