What's that thing in common, you ask?? Beautiful wallpaper lining the back of the shelves. I adore it! Anyone have this in their own closet? Anyone else dreaming of it like me?? If you could choose any wallpaper, what would you choose?

{happy weekend + closet pretty}
Yay for Friday once again! Boy the weeks are flying by. Do you notice that when you are extremely busy with work/studies you are just itching to do anything and everything BUT what you are supposed to be doing?? For me that's cleaning and organizing. My house drives me crazy when I am too busy, I dream up all the things I am going to clean and organize once I have the free time to get my hands on them! Enter: closet envy. These two closets below are very different; one is light and airy and the other is dark and chic. But they have one thing in common that is on my 'dream closet' list:

I love the idea of wallpapering the walls of a closet.....gives the closet such style!
Nancy, these are sooooo fabulous! I'm kinda going crazy over that first wallpaper. Any chance you know the manufacturer?
Hope you have a fabulous weekend. Cheers! xo
Love the color of the cabinets in the first one..the wallpaper looks just perfect with it! enjoy your weekend! xx meenal
I adore wallpaper in a closet! If mine was large enought that items could be spaced out enough to see it I'd totally be hanging it up. Just realized I have a small shelf for my jewelry where you can see the back... I'm doing it!
Oh my these closets are phenomenal! I love peeking in to dream closets. :) Have a great weekend Nancy!

I just had closet shame this morning when I looked in my bathroom closet. This would be a really easy fix. I love the wallpaper!
I know the feeling! I tend to do other things other than what I'm suppose to do.
I like the wallpaper idea. I was going to do this on the inside of my bookshelf but painted it instead; I might go back to the wallpaper idea!
When you purchase beautiful apparel you almost need to honor it by having a splendid place for it to live. Totally agree with all this. Anyway, what woman doesn't NEED a fab closet?
i would love that! You are the second post I've seen about closets today, they must be on everyone's mind! I think I might stencil mine if I ever get the chance. That would be just as good!
love these gorgeous closets..especially #2..but mine definitely wouldn't be that empty haha!

Ugh - I know what you mean - I have to clean closets too this weekend. But these wallpapered closets are inspiring! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend,
Cynthia
Something about patterned walls that make the bleakest wardrobes look that much more pulled together! I can live in these closets all day long!

..closet envy for sure!
I have closet envy! I live with eggplant purple walls and slowly things are being stored in there, not to mention my hubby is taking over the closet!
OK, new project for the weekend: re-do my closet. These are so lovely.
Have a great weekend.
I need to burn my closet and start all over. ;)
have a good weekend nancy!
Ooh, that second closet photo is definitely new to me. I love the all white and how there's a nice balance of displaying clothes versus keeping them hidden. The wall covering is really unique too!
I always love this kind of details in a beautiful closet!
For my wardrobe I chose to put a gorgeous floral fabric in the back of the shelves and I love the result ♥
Very easy to do for a stunning wardrobe!
Closet envy indeed. gorgeous spaces!! key word: space ;)
That's ALOT of designer shoes :) I have a weakness for amazing closets!
Oh Nancy, I totally understand what you mean—the need to clean and feel refreshed is so 'in-the-air' at the moment, and when you are busy, definitely so!
As for these closets, they are lovely! I painted my interior a deep grey with a touch of purple in it—with the concrete flooring, I love it! Perhaps if I had a larger closet, I might choose a wallpaper maybe-something really pretty :)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and a little spoiling–you deserve it!
Warmly,
Sarah
Beautiful and inspirational examples. Do love that second image, such gorgeous wallpaper. Will be sharing your post with my youngest DD to inspire her (and maybe inspire her to do a little tidying!) Have a super weekend! Cheers, Pam
I have one three square feet box of a closet, and must squish things together in order to get something out. The bar in which holds the hangers is sagging. I guess back in 1927 when my house was built people only had two outfits. HOWEVER, they wallpapered every single closet in the house so at least they were pretty.
I love wallpaper and using it in a closet just makes it so personal and special. Just how you want your closet to be! Lovely blog!
I would be fun to have wallpaper in my closet but clothes are covering most of the walls. In my next house!
