But have you ever seen frames overlapping when hung on the wall? It's a new concept for me! I don't even know the logistics of how to hang pictures in this manner, but I kinda like it.

What do you think? It seems to work extra well when done with an amazing art collection and black & white photography. Do you think this is a trend we will see more of, and would you ever try this?

I love the layering on the walls! Yes, I would dare to do it!
Yes, I do like it. Pottery Barn has a great display of this.
We built a wall shelf a couple years ago where we layer framed photos and other interesting objects. I never grow tired of the look.
I love layering on shelves, etc but not sure about on the wall. Looks like a dusting nightmare! Sorry, that is my practical side speaking!
Love the look of layered frames. It is trickier to do than it looks. It has to be the right frame and the right piece of art to work right. You have shown some great looks here on your post. All compositions are done really well and interesting!! happy Monday, Nancy,

I love the layered look, I did it in my dining room with ten picture ledges. If you want to hang them on the wall Pottery Barn has a frame riser so you can hang frames in front of others.
I pinned that first image this weekend and am in LOVE with the look. I'd love to try it in our home!
I love the overlapped, layered look of framed art, but I've never tried it on the wall. I think we will see more of this, and I'd love to give it a try... just not quite sure where right now.
I'm a huge fan of frame layering - I've done it myself on top of my shoe cabinet (ah, yes, I have a display case for my heels!). It adds a gorgeous texture, depth and interest!

I NEED more walls in my home!!! I LOVE layered frames and can't wait to one day have this look in my own home.. It's so classic looking I think it will still be in style for years to come :)
MY FAVORITE!!!!!!
I love the look of layered frames! So interesting to look at.
I don't know. I wonder how artists feel about it? Seems a little disrespectful?
I just moved and will def try this!
The last photo: the frames are placed well with each other. I kind of like it :)
