I first fell in love with this look after seeing it in a bathroom designed by the fabulous Kelly Wearstler:
Amazing! Not to mention the campaign hardware, wow. Here are a few more lovely examples:

How about this idea: if you have enough floor space, and windows all around, place your vanity as a center console in the room. A free-standing double sided mirror will complele the look! LOVE!
Any one used these ideas for a client or in their own home? Would you try it if the opportunity arose? I'd love to hear!

These are great examples! I wonder how well it would work if you needed to put a window treatment up for privacy?
That is a great question!! I'm noticing a few of these window examples are sporting roman shades ... I guess the important thing to do would be to make sure you still have great lighting in the room even if you pull down the blinds when needed. Or frosted windows would work, just like any other bathroom situation with mirrors on the wall really!

I would love to try this!! and I believe you can see everything on those mirrors with natural light coming to your face. great examples!
I guess having windows does make it tough as to where the mirrors go, but these were great examples and in some cases I had to look hard to see the windows. At least when doing your make-up you have lots of god light coming through :)
I think I would try this if the opportunity arose, especially after seeing all these chic examples!
I love the island that is in the middle of the floor. What a great way to use space wisley.
I would definitely try this and will keep the images in my idea folder for when we start remodelling our master bath. Thank you for the inspiration! Cynthia
I think these images prove that 'rules' are made to be broken! I'm going to pin quite a few of these :)

I actually really love this look and so want to try it. Just waiting for the room with a window view first ;-)
I am actually getting ready to do 2 bathrooms for a client and this is a fabulous idea! I may have to work this in as one of their options. I love the Jeffery Alan Marks design; I have never seen anything like it. I love new creative ideas. Thanks, Nancy!
Fabulous idea as you always look better with natural light on your face! I am looking for ideas to put a mirror over another mirror. Since I rent and have the standard builder expansive mirror in the bathrooms I want to add some pizazz to them!
I'd never given this a thought before! Didn't realise that as a rule you shouldn't have your mirror in front of a window!

I like the ones that look like they're mounted straight to the window. Great lighting too, I'm sure!
I love this look and I'm sure it came about as a matter of necessity and it certainly works. As you say, the best kind of lighting you can have. That first one from Kelly Werstler is divine.
These are fabulous! I'm loving these mirrors by the window! Enjoy the gorgeous day, Kellie xx
Oh my goodness! I absolutely love the concept of mirrors and windows! It seemed so out of order when I first thought about it, but after seeing it, it's sooo right!
Love this look. Another cool idea I've seen is mounting the mirror around a small window.
Hello,
I loved your post!

That third one from the top is stunning! I would totally call this my new dream bathroom.
The first image... with the campaign feel to it is just fantastic!
