I've noticed a fun little trend popping up lately: bold, larger-than-life family photos. Whether framed or printed on canvas, these pictures are impactful and best when candid with a touch of whimsy! Does any one have anything like this in their home? I might be a bit afraid to see myself so large scale, but cute little kiddies or even pets look so sweet:
How fun! Have a wonderful Thursday everyone :)

I am with you! I really do not want to see myself in such a large scale. Every wrinkle would be magnified!
i am with you too, Nancy! :-)
I love it! I doubt I would put myself up there but i think it's such a fresh way to show photos.
i do so love that idea!!!! definitely great for kids photos! thanks for sharing!
Good call as you really do see the use of family photos popping up in large scale. I'm with you, pets, kids, a o.k.; I don't even like looking in the mirror to brush my teeth let alone pass-bye a huge blown-up me everyday on the way to the kitchen!
Great post!
Love this trend! And great examples!
I love the first piece of artwork of the girl blowing a bubble :-) I recently saw that room posted on a blog and loved it right away :-)
I think this is a great trend - what can make your home more personal than artwork of your family and pets? :-)

I love this idea, especially in the little girls room.
So great...love each and every image!
...I think this is the way to go with like you said kids & pets....my daughter would love one that BIG of her horse.....Thanks for sharing!
Hope to run into you @ Festive Nest...!
I love via Lonny, very nice!!
I wanted to say thanks for dropping by Moth Design- I'm thrilled to have discovered your blog, and felt the same... have I been living under a rock??
I have that second image saved for a little moth post. SO cute.
I'm loving this trend and have a couple of oversized frames waiting. It's tough deciding on the photos though. I'd like to frame them all and there's only so much wall space!
Again thanks for dropping by Nancy and happy Friday! xoxo
For a few years now photography in general is printed in larger and larger sizes. Portraits follow the trend. Of course they need to be shot and printed professionally.
LOVE THIS! This is exactly the style of family photos that I would want... not too into posed shots, but these? wonderful! I'm definitely going to include a link to this post on my Monday's finds :)
These are fabulous - I'm with everyone else - fabulous for kids and dogs etc but not me! But I love the format and the bold graphic appeal!
