From bold and graphic to sophisticated frou frou, twin beds are a fabulous guest bedroom look. I love the versatility a pair of beds gives your guests, after all not all of your guests will want to sleep next to each other! Not to mention I have one lonely looking twin bed in my guest room currently, it's crying out for a partner. This trend has me swooning, and I especially love these beds side by side with stunning upholstered headboards. Maybe if I can get my hands on a second twin bed I could attempt a pair of DIY upholstered headboards like my lovely friend Barbara over at hodge:podge created here. I would be craving grey velvet with a nailhead trim right now ... big surprise!
Any one sporting this fab look in their guest room?

And the best thing is, one gets a chance to style everything symmetrically. Which is always wonderful! Some lovely images.
They are all beautiful, i do love the first and the other blue with the stripes.
wonderful selection of images, Nancy! another lovely entry from you!
I love seeing twin bed posts, as one of my daughters is insisting on keeping her twin beds in the new house. The beds will be on either side of a window, so seeing the image of the Domino bedroom is very inspiring!
I wish I could say I was rocking this look but I think my guest room is too small for it!
So hard to coose between all these! I will take them all. As in a very small condo, unfortunately no guest room! Only a sofa bed in the living room.
Wow great post. I love these rooms and would love to stay in any of them. The twin beds side by side kind of remind me of a hotel room, and I think that's cool for a guest in your home to be able to feel like they're truly on vacation or staying at a hotel where they have their own private space.
Unfortunately I'm in a one bedroom without even a sofa bed for guests to crash on. But fortunately, my building is attached to the Loden Hotel :)
There's only enough space for one bed in our guest bedroom. If I DID have the space, I'd probably go with a pair of twin beds. Like you said, two beds are more flexible than one.
Love the bedroom in the last picture. The valances above the beds remind me of jigsaw puzzle pieces :-)

oh no! We have a queen in our guest bedroom...and now I want to toss it and start fresh with twins...these are gorgeous and unfortunately for me...very inspiring!
In a 3 bedroom house with two kids, I do not have the luxury of having a set guest bedroom so I put a pair of twin beds in my son's room to accommodate the guests we have visit throughout the year. It will also be great for him when he is older and we host sleepovers for his friends. I love the look of the two twin beds. Before that, we had a double bed in his room and I just didn't like it at all.
the more bed crowns in a room, the better!
I only wish I had a guest bedroom. I think guest bedrooms are the perfect place to go all out with your design ideas, and I love the twin bed solution. The orange headboards with nailhead trim are just perfect in my book!
Thanks for the shout out Nancy! For me it's a toss up between photo 1 and 2. Since I just made 2 curvy headboards but my girls wouldn't let me use nailhead trim - sniff
can't wait to do lunch!

LOVE the Domino one :)
Nancy do you happen to recall which issue from Lonny the 2nd photo came from? I'm desperately trying to source those duvets and cannot find it anywhere in Lonny! Thanks for your time! AWESOME blog. All the ladies in my local fabric store in Florida were talking about it yesterday.
