Whether it's a knit throw or a sweet little button-clad pillow, I am digging these knits! Maybe it's time to take my knitting skills beyond the basic scarf, though I'm not so sure I could reach giant-knit-pouf status!

{fashion meets interior design}
As it gets colder outdoors and we pull out our warmer clothing, my mind always turns to knits. And this fabulous fabric can very clearly translate into our homes for fall. I love being wrapped in a chunky knitted scarf {the only thing I know how to knit myself!} on a crisp and chilly day and I love the texture and warmth that knitted pieces can bring into any interior.

Knots are fabulous, and I love them, bothy in and out. years ago I remember I had asked my mother to knit me some fairisle cushion covers. She thought I was crazy, needless to say they ended up being my favourites!

I love knits too, especially knitted pillows! I've never learned to knit, sadly, but being in Ireland surrounded by such beautiful knitting might get me learning! :)
I love those big cable knits, they add an instant warmth and texture to a room for winter.
That room is sick! I LOVE it. I love the "doily" area rug. So cheeky. And the knit poufs...well I need one even if it means I have to sell a liver. Copy and paste, and into my inspiration folder it goes!
