Two Queen Anne style antique mirrors designed by the legendary Dorothy Draper in 1928 were installed over the built in beveled mirror in this master bath designed by Anyon Interiors.
Jenny over at the lovely blog The Little Green Notebook accomplished this look with inexpensive mirrors from Ikea!

Looks lovely. How does one hang a mirror on a mirror?
OMG! Is that a mirrored fireplace surround?? That's is so glamorous!!
Great post...I actually saw this on one of our design shows last year and forgot all about it, thanks for reminding me....Its a great way of helping clients update the "what do I do with this mirror" problem, just add another one....quite simple but really effective and super stylish.
I love framed mirrors on sheet mirror. It give you a focal point and gives your eye some play with depth. I have used this technique several times in hotel bathroom vanities. You can even just glue an empty frame onto the back sheet of mirror to create the look.
I would try it for sure! I have a huge double sink in my second bath and I've been wanting to try this in there!
What a great idea.. it sure looks very stylish. Love it, great post.

I love mirrors and the first and last photo you posted are exceptionally beautiful! I have a huge mirror above my sofa, with a wooden frame. I've been dying to do something with it, and among my ideas were the mirror-on-mirror option. It's so pretty, but I can't imagine a mirror that would look good layered over my old one.. But I must admin your post added sparks to that old fire hahah!!
Love this idea! The first example with the Venetian mirror is so beautiful but all of the examples are very unique and creative.
I am a mirror fanatic and I love the mirror on mirror look. It is very appealing to me!! Thanks for always reading and leaving such sweet comments for me. The master bedroom is actually my Son and Dil's it is turning out just like she wanted so I am glad for that, it is fun doing a different style and color scheme than something I would do in my own home. Thanks for the compliments, You are a sweet blogging friend, Hugs Kathysue
I LOVE this, I am crazy for mirrors! I think it is a great way to keep a mirrored wall from looking too 80s, because it can definitely go that way if you're not careful! Love the aged mirror look, too, so charming! This is an amazing post, LOVE it! XO!
Adore this look...its gutsy in a way, but when pulled off (like the one's above) its amazing!
Absolutely smitten with that first look. Have a great weekend!
Oh, I love the second to last one!
Hope you had a great weekend—thank you so much for the sweet birthday wishes :)
xo
Ooooh! I love this! We have a 5x8 mirror in the entry to our master suite. It's semi off the entry and this would be Perfect there! Thanks for the inspiration!
